On yesterday, July 25, 2018, several members of the Research Group (GrinReF) led by the Professor of Animal Health, Javier Hermoso de Mendoza, we had an interesting meeting with farmers of the “Sociedad Cooperativa Ganadera Sierra de San Pedro” de Albuquerque.
These days are part of the dissemination activities provided for in the Collaboration Agreement between the Ministry of Environment and Rural, Agricultural Policies and Territory of the Junta de Extremadura and the University of Extremadura (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) for the development of the project research on experiences of control of tuberculosis in the hunting and livestock species 2016 – 2020.
These talks are intended to publicize the lines of work that are being developed in this project, as well as the dissemination of preliminary results that are being observed. Similarly, aware of the importance of knowledge as an indispensable tool to provide effective solutions, we put at the service of the members of the cooperative all the scientific and technical potential of our group to help them with a problem as complicated as animal tuberculosis. We take this opportunity to thank the people in charge of the “Cooperativa Sierra de San Pedro” for their collaboration and the good treatment received.
